Best known for his still lifes and nude paintings","description":"Original oil on panel painting by British representational painter Euan Uglow. Best known for his still lifes and nude paintings, Uglow’s work was equally concerned with art historical traditions as it was about authentically capturing contemporary life. He frequently painted friends, political figures, and nude models in a choppy, flattened space akin to his mentor Claude Rogers, while subtly referencing the work of other painters from history. Sourced from a private collection, the artwork measures 12 inches high by 16 inches wide and comes complete with frame.","brand":"Private Collection","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50961143726337,"sku":null,"price":7000.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0812\/0234\/8289\/files\/euan-uglow-was-a-british-representational-painter-best-known-for-his-still-lifes-and-nude-paintings-2604590.jpg?v=1793151787","url":"https:\/\/mjauctiongallery.com\/products\/euan-uglow-was-a-british-representational-painter-best-known-for-his-still-lifes-and-nude-paintings","provider":"MJ Auction Gallery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
