Vu Cao Dam was a French and Vietnamese artist known for his work in bronze. His art often depicted women and young girls, folklore, and poems. He was associated with Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements. Born in 1908 in Hanoi, Vietnam, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de l’Indochine in Hanoi and the Ecole du Louvre in Paris. His notable peers included Mai Trung Th?, Lê Ph?, and Lê Th? L?u. Influenced by artists such as Renoir, Van Gogh, Bonnard, Matisse, Rodin, Despiau, and Giacometti, he developed a unique style. V?
